In a career spanning almost 30 years that includes design, technical, and leadership positions in multiple firms, Scott has distinguished himself as an astute designer adept at optimizing resources to meet the unique needs of each project. Scott can keenly assess complex project requirements and leverages his insight of the firm’s abilities to assemble the perfect team for each job. Key to his success is a respect for each team member’s strengths combined with a desire to provide opportunities for growth, resulting in more innovative designs and creative solutions. Scott is passionate about developing vibrant and sustainable mixed-use and multifamily residential communities. From concept to completion, he excels in every aspect of the process. He believes that the most successful designs emerge from a detailed analysis of how program, site, and the greater context work together to inform the best solutions. Scott's recent achievements include being the design lead and senior project manager for the Eastline Grand and Eastline Central transit oriented residential mixed-use developments with over 600 homes situated at the terminus of the Link light rail line. Scott holds a Master of Architecture degree from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences with emphases in Urban Geography, City Planning, and Environmental Design from San Diego State University. Licensed in Washington, California, Oregon, North Carolina, and Montana, he’s a member of the AIA, is NCARB and LEED AP® certified, and sits on the Urban Design and Mixed-Use Committee of ULI Northwest. His expertise in multifamily housing is recognized by his recent publications in The Registry where he’s authored two articles on the subject.
