The 2026 New American Home®

See the latest in design trends, product innovations and smart home technology in The New American Home®, the official show home of IBS. The next home will be unveiled at the 2026 NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS), Feb 17-19, 2026, where IBS attendees and media members can tour the home and experience the latest in design, technology and sustainability.

The New American Home® 2026 (TNAH), produced in collaboration with the NAHB Leading Suppliers Council and Professional Builder magazine, will not only serve as a cutting-edge exhibition of the industry’s latest innovations, but will also have a special tie to local community services. The 2026 edition, located in Winter Park, FL, will be the 43rd home in the program’s history, and will be built by Alair Homes.

The New American Home® (TNAH) 2026 marks a pivotal moment for Alair Homes as the first national builder in this prestigious program. Celebrated for showcasing cutting-edge innovations in design and sustainability, this year’s home sets a new standard while supporting meaningful community causes.

For the first time, TNAH is being built for a specific homeowner—Jason Eichenholz, Ph.D., co-founder and former CTO of Luminar Technologies, and founder of Jonathan’s Landing. Inspired by his son, Jonathan, a young adult with autism, Jason is matching all contributions from manufacturers and suppliers dollar-for-dollar to support Jonathan’s Landing, the community he created to help adults on the autism spectrum.
