Mike is a graduate of the Construction Management program at Brigham Young University, along with a Business minor. After 4 years in project management building homes in Beverly Hills, Mike moved back home to Idaho and started Highland Homes. Mike now has 20 years operating as a business owner and went from a struggling small individual startup builder on his own, to building an amazing team of 14 individuals that now build north of $30 million a year in semi-custom homes with plans to hit $50 million by 2026. Mike loves the building industry and is constantly engaged in helping teach, coach and mentor builders seeking to improve their own businesses. He believes deeply in dedicating time, energy and effort into documented systems and business plans as a key part of running a successful homebuilding business.
