The sum total of the nation’s home equity, a whopping $8 trillion, is in the hands of the 55+ homeowner, but a growing number have no interest in moving into a traditional age-restricted community. This shifting demand offers an incredible opportunity for builders who can successfully make for-sale homes attractive to this significant buyer segment. During this session, an architect, interior designer and a marketing specialist will share insights on how you can reassess existing floor plans of different densities, including single family, townhomes and flats, and provide innovative solutions for transforming conventional plans into versatile, timeless environments that are stylish, functional and attractive to the wide variety of today’s 55+ buyers.
