What It's About:

Bringing together an elite group of executives, this session will focus on the link between women and their impact on the industry's labor shortage. Panelists representing leading female-centered trade organizations will address the need for home building related companies to provide construction training opportunities and leadership paths for women. They will also share leadership and professional development programs their organizations are executing to promote women in the trades.

What You'll Learn:

  • Examine why women don't represent a higher percentage of construction related jobs.
  • Explore resources that encourage women to pursue careers in engineering, skilled trades and other professions that support the building industry.
  • Discover how companies can build a talent base of women with the skills and experience necessary to be promoted into leadership roles.

How to Attend:

Participants must be registered for a full registration package or a 1-day education with expo pass package valid for the day of the session they wish to attend. Seating for Building Knowledge sessions will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
