There is so much discussion about the latest marketing buzzwords—from content to the hottest new social media platform to maximizing SEO. With so much focus around big-picture ideas, many builders are left uncertain as to how to apply new marketing tactics to their business today. This Master session will take you back to basics and show you how to set up an annual marketing plan centered on the essential components that drive traffic in-person and online. You’ll learn how to apply the essentials good marketing is built on, including positioning and messaging, budgeting, execution, and measurement. And every attendee will leave with an action plan and supporting materials needed to implement a successful marketing plan for the year.

What You'll Learn:

  • Learn the necessary components of a successful builder marketing plan.
  • Identify how to determine budget and allocate marketing dollars in the most beneficial way with the least amount of waste.
  • Identify the right message and content to generate action from today's homebuyers as well as how to get that message in front of the appropriate audience.
  • Learn how to evaluate the effectiveness of your both your online and onsite marketing program and when/how to implement change throughout the year.

How to Attend:

Master Sessions are in-depth, 3-hour intensive programs that dig deeper into specific industry topics. The sessions are open to all attendees with a Full Registration or 1-Day Education valid for the day of the session they wish to attend, but you can guarantee your Master Session seat for $25 per session. Reserved seating can only be purchased online during IBS advance registration. Tickets purchased by December 23 will be mailed to the address in your registration record prior to the show. Tickets purchased between December 24 and January 7 must be picked up by the purchaser at the Special Events Ticket Counter onsite. Please note that Master Sessions reserved seating tickets are not sold onsite. Doors will open 15 minutes prior to the listed start time and reserved seating will be held until 15 minutes after. At that time, any non-guaranteed seating will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis at no additional charge to attendees with a Full Registration or 1-Day Education valid for the day of the session they wish to attend. Fees for Master Sessions are not refundable.
