JEFF AUGELLO serves as Assistant Vice President and Association Counsel with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Office of Legal Advocacy and Compliance. For over 15 years, Jeff’s practice at NAHB has primarily focused on litigation in administrative, environmental, and the federal fair housing laws. He also designs, implements, and monitors internal policies and practices for NAHB and its affiliates to reduce legal and regulatory risk at the state and federal level. Prior to joining NAHB, Jeff served as a land acquisition attorney with homebuilder Lennar Corporation, marine enforcement Attorney-Advisor with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and law clerk with the U.S. Department of Justice, Environment and Natural Resources Division. Jeff received his law degree (JD) and Mater of Laws (LLM) in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School. He is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and United States Supreme Court.
