Jim is responsible for project and product design with an eye toward the long term attractiveness and viability of each community. Jim has been engaged in the homebuilding industry for over 40 years, founding Saussy Burbank in 1989. Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. An advocate for Affordable Housing, Jim is past board chairman of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Housing Partnership. He currently serves on the Town of Davidson Affordable Housing Taskforce and is on the board of the Housing Opportunity Foundation of the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association.
