Chris Horwitz has a background in project management, structural analysis, and architectural design. After receiving a B.S. degree in Architecture from the University of Maryland, he began his career in Washington, D.C. working as a practicing architect for high-end condominiums and custom remodels. Chris relocated to Denver, CO in 2015 to attend the University of Colorado, where he received an M.S. degree in Civil Engineering, with a concentration in structures. Chris’ team of professionals enables MiTek’s Design Engagement initiative to support Engineers, Architects, and General Contractors in the adoption of design-make-build methodology. • Registered Professional Engineer. • 15 yrs. experience in the building industry (heavily focused on wood). • Board Member Structural Engineers Association of Colorado (SEAC). • Served/serves on several committees aimed at advancing the AEC Industry.
