Andrew Homoly founded Homoly Design + Build in 1997, continuing his family’s legacy of construction. Growing up in Illinois, he learned the trades from his father at a young age and developed a deep appreciation for the art of building. He earned his Civil Engineering degree from the University of Illinois, where he met his wife, Cathy Rose, on the track team. Eventually, they moved to her hometown of Kansas City to build both their family and his career. After starting his professional journey in the corporate world, Andrew felt a strong pull back to his roots. He realized that his true passion lay in custom homebuilding. With a dedication to thoughtful design and superior craftsmanship, he established Homoly Design + Build to create homes that are both functional and beautiful. His hands-on experience has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of every aspect of the construction process. Andrew believes that great design seamlessly blends form and function, enhancing the way families live, entertain, and connect. Homoly specializes in high-performance building, aiming to advance the construction industry by sharing innovative techniques with the next generation of builders. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family and staying active. A longtime competitor in corporate challenges, he is now fully engaged in pickleball. He is especially excited to welcome his son, Mason, into the company as the next generation continues the Homoly legacy.
