Lori supports entrepreneurs and business owners by mentoring and coaching management staff and company owners focusing on process, communication, and leadership. Lori's vast construction and business knowledge comes from successfully managing all operational roles in a construction company - office manager, project manager, operations manager and as general manager. Her strengths lie within the management of projects and understanding the importance of company structure by aligning strategy with people and culture. Lori is retained by the Canadian Home Builders Association (CHBA BC) as an instructor and course writer. The content of these courses is based on solid project management processes – including Project Management & Site Supervision and Project Management Essentials Suite of courses. Demonstrating a high level of expertise in project management principles and practices, Lori has achieved the Certified Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute. Utilizing her certification, Lori also contracts with the University of Winnipeg (PACE Program) facilitating Project Management Fundamentals courses as part of their business program. Taking her years of experience and education, Lori created Rylan Business Consulting in 2016.
