With nearly three decades of experience in the homebuilding industry, Drees Homes Vice President of Production Matt Graves has a depth of knowledge and expertise that is matched by few in the business. Graves earned a degree in Construction Management from Purdue University and started his Drees Homes career as a Builder Trainee in Dallas. Over the next six years, Graves was promoted to Builder, Construction Manager and Southern Region Production Resource Manager. In the early 2000s, Graves was instrumental in rolling out the company’s first online scheduling systems, replacing pencils and paper in the field with laptops and dial up. Since then, he has continuously focused on improving the company’s scheduling, trade portal and customer care systems. In his current role, Graves oversees Production and Customer Care across the company - including job site safety, quality control, post-closing service and customer satisfaction initiatives. Although Graves has worked at Drees for 27 years, his true passion for building homes has remained the same.
