Vladimir serves as the Director of Codes and Standards at NAHB. His career spans over 20 years -- all dedicated to advancing design and construction solutions that work in the field and provide value to the consumer. Vladimir has participated at various code and standard development forums during his tenure and recently has served on the ICC consensus committees for the 2024 International Energy Conservation Code. Prior to joining NAHB in 2019, Vladimir served as a Division Director at the Home Innovation Research Labs where he was responsible for managing multi-year research programs for government and private industry clients on evaluating the performance of a broad range of building systems, technologies, and materials. He also served as the secretariat for the development of the National Green Building Standard (ICC-700) -- the first ANSI-consensus standard for high performance buildings. Vladimir's interest has always been in developing objective data to help bring diverse stakeholders to the table and find common ground in solving industry challenges.
