As an industry professional I have built hundreds of homes, supervised the construction of thousands more, and have been in many thousand more as a quality control manager, home inspector, and trainer. There is no topic within this industry I cannot speak confidently about. I created Homes Built Right in my spare time to bring construction training to the residential home building industry as well as for home inspectors and real estate professionals. I am currently the Director of Quality Assurance and Training at First America Homes based in The Woodlands, Texas. I train their personnel in the Houston and San Antonio markets. I am also in charge of their quality assurance, warranty, and green building programs. I also oversee all building code related issues that may arise. I have presented training events in Baltimore, Orlando, Chicago, Las Vegas, Southern California, Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Austin and many other cities and towns around the country. As a member of the National Association of Home Builders, Texas Builders Association, and the Greater Houston Builders Association I have the honor of working with these groups to bring training opportunities to their members.
