In 2011, Joe Christensen and Adam Schaefer founded Cardinal Crest Homes. Before launching the company, Joe gained hands-on experience in the trades, working with top builders in Las Vegas—an invaluable foundation for his entrepreneurial journey. Cardinal Crest quickly earned a reputation for designing and constructing timeless custom homes that seamlessly blend aesthetic appeal with functionality. Today, the firm builds 6–10 custom homes annually, averaging $1.9 million per home and generating approximately $12 million in revenue each year. Recognizing opportunities for growth, Cardinal Crest expanded into commercial construction and real estate development in 2018. Since then, the commercial division has delivered over $55 million in projects, developed 360 residential units, and built 20,000 square feet of commercial retail space, with more in the pipeline for 2025. The company has also established an in-house property management division and launched Redhawk Earthworks, specializing in earthwork and site development. A BYU CM graduate, Joe is happily married with three children. His passion for building and real estate continues to drive Cardinal Crest’s growth and innovation.
