What It's About:
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recently updated its Guidelines for Safety and Health Programs, first released 30 years ago, to reflect changes in the economy, workplaces and evolving safety and health issues. In response, NAHB has developed a new model Safety and Health Program for those working in the residential construction and remodeling industry. This session will provide an overview of the OSHA guidelines and present the new NAHB model Safety and Health Program, which is a free member benefit. You’ll be led through the program step-by-step and learn how to develop and implement an effective program for your projects.

Understand the new NAHB Safety and Health Program and how it can be incorporated into attendee’s everyday operations on the jobsite.
Provide practical resources to assist attendees in complying with OSHA standards
How to Attend:
Participants must be registered for a full registration package or a 1-day education with expo pass package valid for the day of the session they wish to attend. Seating for Building Knowledge sessions will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
