    What It's About

As labor shortages, supply chain issues and a variety of other factors contribute to a lengthening of construction cycle times, builders are watching profits decline. Homes under construction sit idle for weeks as material suppliers increase lead times, and subcontractors struggle to keep up with demand for crews. Worse, homes are delivered late to customers, with long repair lists caused by a "race to the finish line" to get homes completed. In this advanced session, we’ll zero in on the root causes that are making schedules unreliable and unrealistic and learn strategies to reduce cycle times caused by the "empty house days" created by unexpected delays.

    What You’ll Learn

    • Learn the root causes of longer cycle times, including scheduling deficiencies and subcontractor performance failures, as well as the resulting cost to your business.
    • Gain strategies and process changes that will reduce construction delays, improve schedule reliability and increase customer satisfaction.
    • Understand the seismic shift in the nature of builder relationships with their trades and suppliers.
    • Discover the keys to increasing trade commitment to achieving timely, high-quality performance.

    How to Attend

Participants must be registered for an Expo + Education pass. Seating for sessions will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
