For changes to an existing reservation, or to cancel your reservation; please contact your confirmed hotel directly. Please see your email confirmation for the hotel cancellation policy applicable to your reservation.
If you need a new reservation, NAHB has approved another travel agent company called ARES to assist IBS attendees with new hotel reservations.
To make reservations through ARES, you may call the Reservation Center at 1-877-300-6147 or Book Your Room Online.

PLEASE NOTE! Since the IBS Housing Service is closed, all new reservation rates will be at the discretion of the hotel. The ARES Housing System is a 3rd party travel agent, therefore, any questions on hotel policies stated or payments made on the ARES website should be directed to the ARES Reservation Center or to the hotel directly.
IMPORTANT: Not all hotels listed on ARES are IBS & KBIS Official Show Hotels and may not have shuttle service to the Orange County Convention Center.

A credit card (valid through January 2018) is required in order to secure the reservation. A deposit equal to the first night’s room and tax (12%) will be charged by the hotel to the card provided when the reservation is sent to the hotel at the end December. By providing your credit card information you are agreeing to that charge. If you do not provide a credit card, a room will not be assigned. Checks are not accepted for hotel deposits. Hotel rates include a fee for shuttle service between Official Show Hotels and the convention center.
Friday, December 8, 2017: Final deadline to make changes and room cancellations online. Failure to check in on your scheduled arrival day or cancel your hotel reservation could result in a first night’s room and tax penalty. Please refer to your hotel confirmation for the specific cancellation policy at your hotel.
Saturday, December 9, 2017 – Thursday, December 14, 2017: Any reservation changes, cancellations or requests for new reservations must be emailed to NAHB@experient-inc.com for approval and availability. All reservations will be sent to the hotels on Friday, December 15.
Monday, December 18, 2017: You must contact the hotel directly to cancel or modify room reservations. Failure to cancel in accordance with the cancellation policy printed on your confirmation could result in a charge of one night’s room and tax on the credit card used to guarantee the reservation. Under no circumstances will NAHB be responsible for refunding or returning a processing fee or room deposit for a canceled room reservation nor will NAHB be responsible for any damages from a failure to cancel a reservation.
Friday, December 22, 2017: Hotel confirmation numbers will be emailed to all attendees who have taken advantage of booking through NAHB.
