Malaysian Timber Council

Malaysian Timber council (MTC) was established in January 1992 to promote the development and growth of the Malaysian timber industry. With its new office located in the heart of Houston, Texas, the objectives of the MTC Americas' are aligned with the headquarters. The organization promotes the Malaysian timber trade and develop of the market for Malaysian timber products globally; develop the timber industry by expanding manufacturing technology base and value-adding its production line; augment the supply of raw materials for the timber-processing industry; provide information services to the timber industry; and enhance the global credibility of the Malaysian timber industry.
