Jay is an Executive Vice President at Kittle Property Group, overseeing construction, purchasing and contract administration. The construction team manages site development, demolition, infrastructure utilities/ roadways, building construction and implements NGBS and other “green” construction practices. In addition construction along with purchasing, play a vital role in helping to develop project budgets and participate with the progression of the construction drawings. He also developed budgets, managed offsite development activities for 21 active communities and worked directly with state, local and federal agencies on encroachment type permits involving negotiations to get final agency approvals. Jay has also worked as Vice President of Construction Operations for Empire Land, LLC in Ontario, California. There he oversaw all aspects of land development for over 30,000 residential tract lots and established competitive bidding protocols throughout California, Nevada and Arizona. Jay is fluent in Spanish and attended Clarion State University in Pennsylvania with studies in Computer Science, Mathematics, and minor in Spanish and holds a Green Associate credential for LEED building practices. He holds certificates from GAP International in Leadership, Dave Ramsey's Entreleadership program, is a member of the National Association of Homebuilders and has worked with Caterpillar, Inc. on various sitework and landfill studies. Jay lives in Zionsville, Indiana with his wife Kelli. He and Kelli attend Eagle Church in Zionsville and enjoys small game hunting, deep sea fishing and spending time with his family and 5 grandchildren.
