A demo at the 2017 HPBZWhat It's About:

Moisture intrusion is the number one cause of construction litigation. Learn why moisture is a bigger issue than ever thanks to the reduced drying potential of highly insulated walls and attics. Water generally leaks at roof and wall connections, at penetrations in roofs and walls and where cladding meets trim. Discover how to pick the right WRB for your application and how to install it correctly and efficiently.

What You’ll See and Learn:

Attendees examine the frame built at the 2017 HPBZ

  • Roofing underlayment starts at the eaves
  • Use the right fasteners, install them according to the schedule
  • Integrate the drip edge correctly
  • Choose the right WRB for your wall
  • Tight, level and no radiused corners
  • Correct lapping and detailing of the openings
