Join us and learn about the opportunities that companies will encounter as they seek to do business in Côte d’Ivoire. The impressive macroeconomic advances achieved and, most importantly, sustained by the government over five consecutive years will be outlined. But the microeconomic issues and challenges that characterize the housing sector will also be detailed, including inter alia, access to housing finance, housing supply shortfalls and affordability, and registration of property and obtaining construction permits. The number of stakeholders in this area is growing. Firms from Morocco and Turkey have entered the market and are aggressively pursuing opportunities. The “endorsement” of Côte d’Ivoire’s efforts by the United States affected through the recent signing of a $525 million MCC Compact and the infrastructure and training opportunities that is expected to engender will be explained.
