ID.ology Interiors & Design
Born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina Laura has a deep-seated connection and understanding of the surrounding mountains of Western North Carolina as well as building and designing in this region. Her lifelong involvement in real estate, building, and renovation with her father brought her to fully appreciate design from all aspects at an early age, which led her to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design with a Minor in Art from Appalachian State University. She then went on to obtain her Real Estate Brokerage and General Contractor Licensures. It provided her an exceptional knowledge and eye for all aspects of the design and building processes from the ground up, inside and out, as well as a respect for invaluable relationships with subcontractors and vendors throughout the process, as a team. She founded ID.ology Interiors & Design in March of 2012 to offer her clients a dedicated presence in the Interior Design of their homes and workplaces. Today Laura is an award winning Interior Designer, Certified Aging In Place Specialist, Certified Green Professional, Allied member of ASID, as well as plan reviewer and speaker for the NCHBA and NAHB.
Laura, and her husband Sean Sullivan of Living Stone Construction, love their partnership and thrive off of their creativity and teamwork inside the office, on the job-site and more important at home with each other and their three boys. When Laura isn’t working she is either at their son’s sporting events or channeling her creativity into creating her signature impressionist paintings.
