Listen, learn and review policies and procedures for change orders and allowances that will make you more money, boost efficiency and maintain control of the project and client. This advanced session employs real-world examples for comparing invoicing methods, and examples of profile changes, conditions and circumstances that are normally difficult to estimate and price. You’ll also explore essential contract wording to fully define your role versus that of the client and the architect, and learn how to incorporate an owner representative and contractor representative as the only persons allowed to initiate, issue and sign change orders, adjustments, options and allowance selections.

  • Discover how to profit, prepare and document calculated allowances to reflect realistic amounts for client options, selections and choices.
  • Apply essential contract wording to define your company’s policies and procedures for change orders and allowances.
